I was three-years old when I finally took my athletic abilities into a league. My parents signed me up for roller hockey in the ‘mini-mites’ division. I joined my five-year old brother, Brett, on the Yellow Panthers. I wore #1, while my brother sported #11. We played on the same team for the next 10-plus seasons, wearing nothing other than #1 and #11.
I chose to wear at the University of Richmond to bring back the unforgettable and enjoyable years of playing hockey with my older brother, before my lacrosse career commenced.
